Recently it was announced that Jay-Z is officially a billionaire. Jay-Z is the first rapper to make a billion dollars and this has been a great cause for celebration for the hip hop community. But many black Americans taken Jay-Z's successes and has attributed it to black success as a whole. But in the midst of the ADOS (American Descendants of Slaves) movement for reparations this false scene of success among Foundational Black Americans can possibly work against the movement.
